How Tony’s Scans N Plans collects, stores and deletes booking details, scans and plans. See what records remain and how to request deletion.
Who we are
Tony Tung Le, doing business as Tony’s Scans N Plans, San Diego, California.
Tony makes each visit and handles your information. There is no public office. Call or text 619-301-0013.
What we collect, and why
- When you book: the property address, the date and arrival time, the package and extras you chose, and the amount. We need these to show up at the right place and do the right work.
- When you pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay: the payment happens on Stripe’s page. We receive the e-mail address you enter there, a confirmation that the payment went through and Stripe’s payment reference. Your card number never reaches us.
- When you pay through Whop: Whop hosts the checkout and processes the payment. We receive the e-mail address you enter, confirmation that the payment went through and Whop’s payment reference.
- When you send a message from the contact page: your name, phone number, the type of project, what you write, and your e-mail if you add it.
- When you apply to the partner network: your contact details, availability, connections, application answers and agreement to the program terms. Referral and Affiliate applicants also provide a payout method and handle. We keep these privately to review applications and administer the program. Payout handles are never included in public responses or notification emails. Partners receive no access to customer bookings or delivery files.
- After a partner application is saved, this browser tab remembers only the application reference, approval status and partner link. Application answers and payout handles are not saved on your device.
- During the visit: the scan of the rooms we measure and, if you ordered the room-by-room record, dated photos of those rooms. These become your plans and your files.
- Your language choice controls which language the pages use. If analytics is enabled, anonymous statistics may include the language you chose; we do not use it to identify you.
What we do not do
- No cookies from us and no advertising pixels. If analytics is enabled, our host records anonymous page views and actions such as booking steps, package choices and sample downloads. We do not send names, addresses, contact details or form answers to analytics. The one technical cookie you may notice comes from our host and is explained below.
- We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
- We do not send marketing e-mails or texts. You hear from us about your booking, your files, or a message you sent — nothing else.
- Do Not Track: we do not use advertising pixels or build advertising profiles. Your browser’s Do Not Track setting does not change that.
Who else sees your information
A few companies help us run the site. Each one gets only what it needs for its job:
- Stripe handles card, Apple Pay and Google Pay payments on its own pages, under its own privacy policy, and keeps its own record of your payment.
- Whop hosts the Whop checkout, processes those payments and keeps its own payment record under its privacy policy.
- Replit hosts the site, the database and the private file storage, in the United States, and provides the connection through which booking e-mails reach us. Its servers set one technical cookie, named GAESA, that keeps your requests on the same server; it holds no personal information and we never read it.
- Google: booking details and messages reach Tony in his business mailbox, which is a Google mailbox. The site itself loads nothing from Google; its fonts are served from this site.
- Clerk provides the sign-in for our own staff pages. Its script loads only on those pages, which are not linked from the site, so it never runs and sets no cookie while you visit as a customer.
- The architect, engineer or contractor you ask us to send files to receives exactly the files you asked us to send.
- Nobody else, unless a law or a court order requires it.
Opening a page calls nobody else. The fonts, scripts and pictures all come from this site, so apart from our host no company learns that you visited.
Where your files live, and for how long
Your scan, plans and photos stay in private US cloud storage that only we can open. Tony makes plans on his own equipment. Site scans never go to an outside conversion service.
The public file converter runs on this site’s Replit server. It does not add uploads to project storage. It deletes temporary files when the request ends. Only upload files you have permission to use or share.
You receive your files through a private link that works for 14 days. If it expires before you have saved everything, ask us for a new one.
After delivery, confirm you have downloaded and opened every file. We then erase the scan, plans and photos from storage and the database. We also erase the booking’s address, name, phone and email.
We keep the business record: date, service, amount and payment reference. Booking emails stay in Tony’s mailbox for as long as accounting and tax rules require. Ask us to delete those emails too.
If we never hear from you, the files stay stored so that you can still get them. You can ask us to erase them at any time by text or phone.
Bookings erase themselves too: 90 days after the visit is marked done, or the booking is cancelled, the address, name, phone and email are removed automatically and only the business record stays. While your files are still stored for you, the booking keeps your contact details so that we can reach you about them.
A time slot that is held but never paid for is deleted from our database three days after the hold ends.
Messages from the contact page are deleted from our database 30 days after we have handled them, and no later than 180 days after they arrive. The copy in Tony’s mailbox stays until the conversation is over; ask us and we delete it. Payment records stay as long as accounting and tax rules require.
Our server logs the time, requested page and result to keep the site working. It counts requests per internet address for 15 minutes to block automated abuse, then discards the count.
Our host gives us approximate visit counts by page, country and device from the requests it serves. There are no names. We cannot trace these counts to a person.
Your choices
Ask to see, correct or erase your information. Call or text 619-301-0013. We reply as soon as we can and may ask questions to confirm it is you.
Because we do not track visitors, there is nothing to opt out of on the site itself.
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
How we protect it
The site runs over an encrypted connection. Files sit in private storage behind links that cannot be guessed, and we store only a fingerprint of each link, not the link itself. Card details never touch our server. The staff page sits behind a sign-in and is not linked from the site.
No system is perfectly safe. If we ever learn that your information was exposed, we tell you.
Changes to this page
If we change how we handle your information, we update this page and the date at the top. The version in force when you booked applies to that booking.
