How the building is measured

On site: One visit with a handheld laser scanner. Most homes take 10 to 20 minutes on site; the measurements are taken on the spot, not estimated from photos or a phone app.
Field check: Key distances are checked on site with a laser level, tape measure and spirit level.
Stated accuracy: To the centimeter on measured distances (the owner’s statement, also in the FAQ). Every drawn element is marked measured or assumed, and the files say “Verify in field. Not for construction.”
Assumptions: Wall thicknesses come from exterior-versus-interior dimensions; opening positions are scaled from the report’s plan; door leaf thickness and glazing are drawn, not measured. The sheets and the model say so.

Scan report: Room-by-room PDF: interior dimensions, ceiling heights, areas, perimeters, openings and fixtures. The numbers the drawings are made from.
Drawing sheets: ARCH C (24 × 18 in) at 1/2" = 1'-0": A-101 floor plan and A-601 room, door, window and fixture schedules. Tagged PDFs that pass PDF/UA-1.
CAD (add-on): DWG in AutoCAD 2000 format and the same plan as R12 DXF, in inches. Layers named to the US National CAD Standard: A-WALL, A-DOOR, A-GLAZ, A-FLOR-FIXT, A-AREA-IDEN, A-ANNO-DIMS, A-ANNO-NOTE.
Revit (add-on): An IFC4 model in millimetres: walls, openings, doors, windows, slab, rooms with quantities and fixtures. Opens in Revit 2024 and later, links in 2023. A property set on every element (TSNP_ExistingConditions) states what was measured and what was assumed. Ask if your workflow needs a native RVT.
Raw scan: On request, sent to you or to an engineer you name. Format confirmed per project.
3D walkthrough (add-on): A virtual tour of the space your client can open in a browser.

Booking: Online, 24/7, price shown before paying. Visits Monday to Saturday, often the same or next day; nights and Sundays by text.
Delivery: Plans within a week of the visit. The delivery date (visit date + 7 calendar days) is written on the booking.
Larger buildings: Deposit at booking; the balance is quoted before the visit, never after.
Your client’s privacy: Once you confirm you have working copies, the project files are deleted from our side. Only the business record stays.
